Anna Cowl Preview - Swans Island Pattern Collection

I have 3 designs in the new Swans Island pattern collection coming out later this summer. My favorite is the Anna Cowl - a lovely loop knit up in garter stitch and a simple scalloped lace pattern. The Swans Island Certified Organic Merino Worsted is lovely to work with and the finished product is BEYOND soft and drapey.

looking for testers - mogul cowl & infiniti scarf

well, it looks as though i successfully completed 3-4 days of the knitting blog week! the balance of my week got crazy with work and errands, so i was a naughty blogger and i did not post - oopps!

today i'm sharing with you a preview of one of my new patterns - the mogul cowl & infiniti scarf. the pattern includes instructions on how to create a close-fitting cowl and a long infiniti scarf you can wear in many ways - wrapped around the neck loosely or swirled around a few times, or as a hooded cowl.

i'm currently looking for test knitters to knit both the small and large versions. the small version uses about 200 yards of heavy worsted/chunky weight yarn. the large version uses about 400 yards of light worsted weight yarn.

if you are interested in testing, please PM me on Ravelry. details for testers are available in the BreeanElyse group on Ravelry.

My Twisted Cowl Featured in the Malabrigo Book 3 Preview

In my last post I showed the ad featuring my Rasta Neckwarmer, which is one of the patterns in the upcoming Malabrigo Book 3. In response to some feedback to commenters on the Malabrigo blog, Hannah posted a preview featuring a few of the book's designs. My Twisted Cowl was featured in this post!

Up to this point, I had only seen my own designs, and I was extremely excited to see the patterns from the other contributors. They are beautiful! The styling, done by Hannah Thiessen, is super gorgeous - apparently a lot of the clothes came straight from her closet! Wow :) Here are the other previewed designs:

Aren't they beautiful? This looks like a great book and I'm extremely honored and thrilled to be a part of it. I can't wait to have a copy of this baby in my hands!
