tribune scarflette

An abbreviated scarf knit lengthwise. This pattern begins with a textured lace pattern and ends with rows of stockinette and garter, slightly curved by the simplest of short rows.
Psst. Want a larger size? Simple increase your gauge – I suggest using Malabrigo Twist yarn and size 10.5 needles.

Materials:
Size US7, 40” circular needles
1 skein Malabrigo Arroyo (#45 Chircas shown) - OR 335 yards of sport weight wool
Tapestry needle

Gauge:
14sts = 4” in stockinette after blocking

Finished Measurements (after blocking):
10” high from bind off to lace points; 54” long

tribune scarf & wrap

This easy-to-memorize textured lace pattern creates a wearable scarf and a snuggly wrap that looks great in a multitude of yarns. The pattern directions are written for the scarf version with the wrap version instructions in parentheses.

Stripes, texture and slipped stitches come together in this sweet, lightweight hat. A great transitional piece, this is knit in a wool/silk blend, creating a nice slouchy hat perfect for spring and fall. Knit it in neutrals for a subdued look, or make it feisty with a punchy color combination.
