Fall Flux Hats

The Fall Flux Hats come in two versions - short & slouchy, and a tubular toque.

The Fall Flux Hats are great for those special skeins of color-changing fingering weight yarn hiding in your stash. With clean, uncomplicated shaping and brilliant pops of color, these hats are perfect for your Summer-to-Fall wardrobe transition.

Materials:
Yarn: Any plump, single ply fingering weight yarn that gradually changes color will work.

1 skein Noro Taiyo Sock (color #5 shown) – used in short length sample
1 skein Noro Silk Garden Sock (color #304 shown) – used in long length sample

Size US 2 (2.75mm), 16” circular and double pointed needles

Stitch Marker

Gauge (Blocked):
Shorter Version: 14 sts = 2” in Stockinette St (using Taiyo Sock)
Longer Version: 13.5 sts = 2” in Stockinette St (using Silk Garden Sock)

Finished Measurements (Blocked):
Shorter Version: 21” circumference; 8.5” height (using Taiyo Sock)
Longer Version: 20” circumference; 10.5” height (using Silk Garden Sock)
